Terms of Use
Last Updated: January 2025
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of horivonexila's educational services, website, and related materials. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We've written these terms to be clear and straightforward. If something doesn't make sense or you have questions, reach out to us directly.
Acceptance and Modifications
When you register for our programs, access our website, or use any of our educational materials, you're entering into a binding agreement with horivonexila. This isn't just a formality—it means we both have responsibilities to each other.
We reserve the right to update these terms when needed. Maybe we're adding new services, or regulations change, or we've found a better way to explain something. When we make changes, we'll post the updated terms here and adjust the date at the top. For significant changes that affect your rights, we'll send you an email at least 30 days before they take effect.
Your continued use of our services after changes become effective means you accept the new terms. If you don't agree with the changes, you should stop using our services and contact us to discuss your options.
Educational Services
Program Enrollment
Our programs are designed for professionals looking to strengthen their budget presentation skills. When you enroll, you gain access to structured learning materials, live webinars, recorded sessions, and supplementary resources.
Enrollment requires accurate information. You need to provide your real name, a valid email address, and truthful details about your professional background. We use this information to tailor content and communicate with you effectively.
Program Access and Duration
Different programs have different access periods. Most of our courses provide access for 12 months from enrollment, though some specialized programs may vary. We'll clearly state the access period before you register.
During your access period, you can revisit materials as often as you like. After it expires, you may request extended access for an additional fee. We typically keep content available, but occasionally we update or retire older materials to keep everything current.
What We Promise
We work hard to deliver quality educational content that helps you improve your budget presentation skills. Our instructors have real-world experience, and we update materials regularly based on current practices and participant feedback.
That said, we can't guarantee specific outcomes. Your results depend on factors beyond our control—your effort, your existing skills, your work environment, and how you apply what you learn. We provide tools and knowledge, but you're responsible for putting them into practice.
User Responsibilities
Account Security
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your login with others. If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, let us know immediately so we can help secure it.
- Choose a strong, unique password that you don't use elsewhere
- Don't let others use your account, even temporarily
- Log out when using shared or public computers
- Contact us right away if you notice suspicious activity
Appropriate Use
Our platform is for professional education. We expect respectful, constructive participation. During webinars and in any community features, engage thoughtfully. Ask questions, share experiences, offer insights—but keep it professional.
Prohibited Activities: Don't attempt to access restricted areas of our systems, interfere with other users' experience, or use our services for anything unrelated to professional development. No spamming, no harassment, no attempts to bypass security measures.
Content You Create
Sometimes you might submit questions, share case studies in discussions, or provide feedback. When you do, you're giving us permission to use that content to improve our programs. We might share anonymized examples with other participants if they're particularly instructive.
Don't submit anything confidential or proprietary from your employer without permission. And definitely don't share other people's personal information or anything that violates someone else's rights.
Intellectual Property Rights
Our Content
Everything we create—course materials, videos, templates, frameworks, website design—is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We've invested significant time and expertise developing these resources.
When you enroll, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use our materials for your own professional development. You can download resources for personal reference, use our templates at work, and review recorded sessions. What you can't do is redistribute, resell, or share our content with others.
What You Can't Do
- Record or screenshot our webinars or course videos
- Share login credentials so others can access paid content
- Copy our materials to create competing courses or services
- Remove copyright notices or branding from our resources
- Use our content for commercial training without permission
Templates and Tools
The templates and tools we provide are for your professional use. You can adapt them for your workplace, customize them for specific situations, and use them repeatedly in your role. If your organization wants to use our materials more broadly—say, for internal training programs—contact us about organizational licensing.
Payment Terms
Fees and Billing
Program fees are listed in Australian dollars unless otherwise noted. Prices are clearly displayed before enrollment. When you register, you agree to pay the stated fee according to the selected payment schedule.
We accept major credit cards and direct bank transfers. For programs with payment plans, payments are processed automatically on scheduled dates. Make sure your payment information stays current to avoid service interruptions.
Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for most programs. If you're not satisfied within the first two weeks, contact us for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are handled case-by-case, considering how much content you've accessed and your specific circumstances.
We're reasonable about this. If you've watched all the videos and downloaded all the materials, asking for a refund doesn't seem fair. But if something unexpected came up or the program genuinely wasn't what you needed, let's talk.
Price Changes
Program prices may change over time. Once you're enrolled, the price you paid is locked in for your access period. Price changes only affect new enrollments.
Cancellation and Termination
Your Right to Cancel
You can cancel your enrollment during the refund period following the terms outlined above. To cancel, send us an email with your name and program details. We'll process your request within 3 business days.
If you've paid for extended access or additional services, cancellation terms depend on what you've purchased. We'll explain applicable terms before you complete any purchase.
Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. This isn't something we do lightly, but if you're sharing credentials, distributing our content illegally, or disrupting the experience for others, we'll step in.
Usually, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to correct the issue. But for serious violations—like trying to hack our systems or harass other participants—we might terminate access immediately without refund.
Effect of Termination
When access ends (whether you cancel or we terminate), you lose access to all course materials, recorded sessions, and platform features. You're still bound by confidentiality and intellectual property terms though. Downloaded materials for personal reference remain yours to use professionally, but you can't distribute them.
Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Our separate Privacy Policy explains in detail what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using our services, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide during registration, your interactions with course materials, attendance at webinars, and communications with us. We use this to deliver services, improve content, and communicate with you about your enrollment.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with third parties except where necessary to provide services (like payment processors) or where required by law.
Your Data Rights
You can request access to your personal data, ask us to correct errors, or request deletion of your information. Some information we're required to retain for legal or financial record-keeping, but we'll delete what we can and explain what we must keep.
Disclaimers and Limitations
Service Availability
We strive to keep our platform available 24/7, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. Occasionally, we need to perform maintenance, or technical issues arise. We'll minimize disruptions and notify you of planned maintenance when possible.
We're not liable for access issues caused by your internet connection, device problems, or factors beyond our control.
Content Accuracy
We work hard to ensure our content is accurate, current, and useful. But business practices change, regulations evolve, and different organizations have different needs. Our materials provide general guidance based on our experience—they're not a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation.
Important: Nothing in our courses constitutes financial, legal, or accounting advice. We teach presentation and communication skills related to budgets, not technical accounting or financial planning. For specific guidance, consult appropriate professionals.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the specific program or service at issue. We're not liable for indirect damages, lost opportunities, or consequential losses.
This doesn't affect your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law. If we breach a consumer guarantee, we'll remedy the situation as required by law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have services remedied if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure doesn't amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition implied or imposed by Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
Dispute Resolution
Direct Communication First
If something goes wrong or you're unhappy with any aspect of our service, please talk to us first. Most issues can be resolved through direct conversation. Contact us, explain the problem, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it.
Formal Process
If we can't resolve an issue informally, either party may initiate formal dispute resolution. We'll first attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator. If mediation doesn't work, disputes will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Resolution Institute Arbitration Rules.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of New South Wales.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific program terms, constitute the entire agreement between us. They replace any previous agreements or understandings, written or verbal.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We'll replace any unenforceable provision with an enforceable one that achieves the same purpose to the extent possible.
Waiver
If we don't enforce a particular term immediately, that doesn't mean we've waived the right to enforce it later. Our rights under these terms remain in effect unless we explicitly waive them in writing.
Assignment
You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to anyone else. We may assign our rights and obligations to another entity, provided your access to services and your rights aren't negatively affected.
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control—natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet outages, or other unforeseeable events. We'll work to resume services as quickly as possible and keep you informed.
Questions About These Terms?
We're here to help clarify anything that's unclear. Legal documents can be dense, and we'd rather have a conversation than leave you confused about your rights and responsibilities.
